Show Aggies Plan Homecoming Plans to stage traditional Aggie homecoming which is set for November No-vember 11 at Utah State Agricul- tural college are being completed this week by the student council under the direction of Katherine Jenkins of Sugar City, Idaho, general chairman of the celebration. celebra-tion. Homecoming was last observed on the Utah State campus in October Oc-tober 1942. Highlight of homecoming activity acti-vity will be a football game with Idaho Southern Branch in the Aggie Ag-gie Stadium at 2:30 p. m. A campus cam-pus rally with Cheer Queen Glen-nis Glen-nis Pratt, of Kaysville, in charge will be held prior to the ga.ne. Four war bonds will be given away during half-time of the game and a special navy drill team from Idaho will perform. Sororities On the campus will vie for honors in house decorations during the homecoming day. Awards will be based on originality and general artistic appearance, Miss Jenkins said. A special issue of Student Life will be distributed as part of the homecoming celebration giving details de-tails of entire events of the day. Miss Jenkins stated that a special assembly and dance have been scheduled for the week with details to be announced later. Numerous Aggie Alumni are expected to return to the campus while several Utah Staters now in the armed services will be present. |
