Show Clyde Explains Delay in Opening Airport Bids According to word received in Logan from Professor George D, Clyde, chairman of the Logan-Cache Logan-Cache airport committee of the chamber of commerce, bids for construction of the airport will be opened Tuesday, December 23. Professor Clyde is at present in Los Angeles, where the bids will be opened. A change in specifications, to include a different thickness in the mat for the runways, was the reason for the bid opening delay, according to Professor Clyde, who is attending a special Civil Aeronautics Aero-nautics training meeting at Santa Monical. Work on the new airport highway high-way is progressing rapidly. |
