Show Cast Chosen For Second Theatre Play Slate for Little Theatre plays at Utah State Agricultural college col-lege was augmented Monday with announcement of casting for the season's second play, "Her Husband's Hus-band's Wife," a comedy written by A. E. Thomas- It will be directed di-rected by Dr. Chester J. Myers, head of the U.S.A. C. department of Speech, and presented December Decem-ber 8 to 13. Meanwhile, rehearsals were progressing for staging of the college-community dramatic organization's or-ganization's first play of the year "Ladies of the Jury," scheduled for production November 24 to29 under direction of Professor Floyd T. Morgan. Named student assistant to the director for "Her Husband's Wife" was Marjorie Tanner, senior major ma-jor in speech from Ogden. Assuming As-suming lead roles in the play after castings Friday and Monday Mon-day were David Latimer of Salt Lake City, Dean Eyre of Rawl-ings, Rawl-ings, Wwoming; Oleen Bunderson of Tremonton, Barbara Dunn and Dorothy Cone Peterson of Logan and Lausanne Gudmundson of Burley, Idaho. Rehearsals will commence soon, Dr. Myers said. Production crew members include in-clude Wayne Wilson of Midway, Vada Smith of Driggs, Idaho, Maurene Cook of Saratoga, Wyo., Olsen Bunderson of Tremonton, Anne Ryan and Myr Louise Mehr of Logan, Betty Lowe of Franklin, Frank-lin, Idamo; Barbara Fitzgerald of Kamas, and Margaret Erickson of Salt Lake City. "Her Husband's Wife," endorsed by Walter Prichard Eaton, noted American drama critic, will be the second of four plays to be presented by the Little Theatre group this year. Somerset Mau-ghn's Mau-ghn's "The Breadwinner," also a comedy, is scheduled for February 23 to 28 under direction of Mrs. Ruth Moench Bell, with the fa-mour fa-mour psychological drama study, "Blind Alley," by James Warwick, War-wick, set for March 23 to 28 under Dr. Halbert Greaves. |
