The James Hendricks camp of the Daughters of Pioneers held their monthly meeting in the pioneer building Friday with Captain Cap-tain La I -real Webb in charge, j The lesson, "Woman's Suffrage in the West," was given by Lucy! C Merrill. It was decided by the! group to remove the relics of j the organization from the log cabin to the upstairs room inl the pioneer building, on account of the dilapidated condition of the ' , : $ Richmond Mr. and Mrs. H. S. Nelson of Preston were guests of Mr. and Mrs. L. O. Sorenson on Sunday. Mrs. Margaret Sorenson and son Nyle of Heyburn, Idaho were Richmond visitors Tuesday. At the regular luncheon meeting meet-ing of the Lion's club held Monday Mon-day evening the club voted to send a letter to all Richmond service men for Christmas. Assume As-sume Logan USO host duties for the week end of October 30; conduct con-duct a guest night November 8; cooperate with the American Legion Le-gion and city in sponsoring a party for all parents, wives and friends of service men on November Novem-ber 11th; support the United War Fund Drive to be held from October Oc-tober 24 to November 3rd. C. B. Johnson was in charge of the program. Dr. King Hendricks of USAC was the principal speaker. C. I. Stoddard gave two vocal solos; a report of the finance committee was made by Bryan Hendricks. Mr. and Mrs. William Merrill returned home Wednesday evening from Paul, Idaho where they spent a few days visiting relatives. |
