Show if n i j Darwin Loroy Read, two-year-old son of William B. and Mary Hill Read of Smithfield, died at a local hospital Sunday after a three months illness caused from a heart condition. He was born July 25, 1937, at Smithfield. I Besides the parents a brother and two sisters survive: Dale, Carina and Joyce Read, along with his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Mary J. Hill of Logan, and paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. William Read, Sr. of Smith-field, Smith-field, Funeral Services for Darwin Leroy Read were held Wednesday Wednes-day afternoon at the Second ward chapel with Bishop W. A. Hansen conducting. The ward choir was directed by Mrs. Mari-' on Richardson with Miss Ilia I Richardson at the organ. The' speakers who paid tribute to the j family were Mr. George Done of Logan, Bishop M. L. Van Orden, Bishop W. L. Winn, and Bishop W. A. Hansen. Special musical selections were, vocal solo, Mrs. Regeuia Smith; vocal solo L. Baugh of Logan, solo accompani-l ed by the choir Mrs. George Hansen. Prayers were offered by, Mr. LeGrand Gunnell and Mr. G. E. Workman. The grave at the Smithfield cemetery was' dedicated by Bishop Sylvester Low. i . |
