Hyde Park j In testimony meeting Sunday afternoon the following babies were named: Virginia Dairies, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Daines; Garth Allen Purser, son of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Purser; Rozalyn Roper, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Roper of Salt Lake City. Mrs. Ray B. West, president of the Cache Stake Relief Re-lief Society was present and reorganized re-organized the Relief Society. Mrs. Avon Lamb was sustained as president pres-ident with Mrs. Oneita Waite and Mrs. Ardella Hancey as counselors coun-selors and Mrs. Verda Balls as secretary. The outgoing officers included Mrs. Ethel Balls, president; presi-dent; Mrs. Carrie Hurren and Mrs. Florence Hancey, counselors; Mrs. Avon Lamb, secretary. Vi-itors Vi-itors at the meeting were Joseph B. Daines of the Logan temple presidency and Doyle Dutson of the high council. Harvey Kirby of Antioch, Calif., spent a few days last week visiting vis-iting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. James F. Kirby. Mrs. Marvin Roper and baby daughter of Salt Lake have spent three weeks visiting at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gloyd Hyde.; They returned to their home Sunday, Mr. Roper accompanying them. Miss Afton Ducev who is employed em-ployed in Ogden, spent the weekend week-end at the home of her parents Mr. and Mrs. Fred Duce. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Duce, Mr. and Mrs. Willard Duce and Mrs. Eliza Duce attended the testimonial testi-monial and party honoring Bishop Charles England in Lo gan Thursday evening. Mrs. Sadie Hancey is spending a two week vacation in San Francisco Fran-cisco visiting with her daughter and son-in-law Lieutenant and. Mrs. Russell Listen. Mrs. Letha McQuarrie and two-children two-children left Sunday for their home in Clearfield after spending five days visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. R. S. McQuarrie. |
