Show Best Utah Wheat To Receive Pillsbury Award OGDEN, Utah, Oct. 29 For the first time, one of the newly established es-tablished Philip W. Pillsbury a-wards a-wards for agricultural achievement will be awarded the best wheat in the state of Utah, as judged at the International Seed show in Ogden, October 31 November 6, it w-as announced today. A handsome trophy and a cash prize will be awarded to the grand champion for his wheat on behalf be-half of tire donor, Philip W. Pillsbury Pills-bury of Minneapolis, flour milling company executive, by the committee com-mittee on Pillsbury Awards. Entries are expected from all wheat growing counties in Utah. Formal presentation of the Phillip W. Pillsbury Awards will be made on November 1, by V. P. Campbell manager of the Pillsbury Globe Mills at Ogden. The winner will be chosen by the regularly appointed ap-pointed judges of the Internvoaat-ain Internvoaat-ain Seed show. The committee on Philip W. Pillsbury awards for Agricultural achievement is composed of O. T. Henkle, vice president and general gen-eral manager, Union Stock Yard & Transit company of Chicago: B. H. Heide, general manager, International In-ternational Live stock Exposition; M. S-. Parkhurst, superintendent, Internation Grain and Hay show, also of Chicago. |
