Show RODEO FEATURE ' OF COUNTY FAIR Seating Capaciyt Will Be Greatly Increased Cache County Commissioner Tar-ley Tar-ley Hall and Chairman Parley Reese of - the Rodeo committee for the Cache County Fair to be held August 24-26, reported today that a number of changes and improvements will be made at the Fair grounds, especially in the seating and in the arena for the rodeo. There is no finer setting in the state for a fair than at the Cache County Fair grounds, but some improvements and changes are necessary. A rodeo can be conducted much faster and more satisfactorily if the arena is not too large and the seats are at least on both sides so more people have a ciosea view oi tne events. The plan is to reduce the size of the present arena and have bleachers on the east side of the arena in addition to those already on the west side. This will provide seating seat-ing capacity for 5000 people. The rodeos will be held each night of the fair so with the arena smaller, it will be easier to give better lighting. This is im-portand im-portand and makes for a much better show. It is also planned to have the old and new grand stands painted. paint-ed. The chutes and catch corral will be improved and painted, ork will commence at once at the fair grounds so all will be in readiness for the opening day of the fair. R. T. Richter of Montana an experienced rodeo stock man and performer will furnish all the stock and conduct the show. He is furnishing the stock' and conducting con-ducting the rodeo for the celebration celebra-tion in Salt Lake City, July 19-24. All of this stock and many of the performer at the Salt Lake show will be here for the Cche County Fair. Chairman Reese also plans to have rodeo queens from all the settlements of the- county ride in the Grand Entry each evening of the rodeo. The Logan Mounted Police will present a short demonstration dem-onstration each evening before the rodeo if arrangements can be made. The Rodeo committee for t he Fair are Parley Reese, chairman; County Commissioner Parley Hall and Secretary M. R. Hovey of the Logan Chamber of Commerce.
