Show Phoebe A. Allen Services Held At Richmond Funeral services were held in the Richmond tabernacle Monday Mon-day afternoon for Mrs. Phoebe A. Allen with Bishop Raymond Allen of the Cove ward officiating. officia-ting. There were friends and relatives rel-atives from far and near on hand -to pay their last respects and to offer sympathy to the members of the bereaved family. Speakers were Bishop Levi H. Allen of Cove, O. L. Ballam of Bichmond, President H. Ray Pond and Bishop Raymond Allen. The departed was eulogized by the speakers for her many traits of character that endeared her, not only to her family, to all who uoiy lo ner Aitiiixij-, I inew her. In her early youth she taught school; was . a lover of friends, music and good books. She was devoted to her church and worked in many church capacities ca-pacities Prayers were offered by William Anderson and W. Z. Harris. Music Mu-sic consisted of songs by ohe choir; vocal solo by Mrs. Edith Glenn of Logan; violin solo by Erma Pehrson, Gene Prather of Logan was the acompanist for the musical selections. The grave in the Richmond cemetery was aedi--oated by James McMurrin. Among some of those in attendance at-tendance from. Logan at the services ser-vices were Judge and Mrs. M. C. Harris, Mrs. William Evans Jr., Bishop O. A Sonne, Mrs. A. A. Johnson, Mrs. J. O. Allen, Mr. and Mrs. William E. Harris and Mrs. Alta Clark. |
