Show Former Newton Resident Dies In Los Angeles Funeral services for Frank Mason Ma-son Hill, 76, former Newton resident resi-dent who died Tuesday night in a Los Angeles, California hospital, willi.be conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. In the Newton ward chapel. Mr. Hill went to California a ys"y ago to work in a war industry. indus-try. : He' had been living in Glen-dale Glen-dale at the home of a daughter. He was bom in Logan on March 29, 1866, a son of Henry and Mary Griffiths Hill. He was a telephone company employee and farmer in Logan and Newton most of his life. He married Elmira Benson who died some time ago. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Lois Hill Shelton of Glen-dale, Glen-dale, California, and Mrs. Blanche I H. Jenson of Lyman, Wyoming, a sister, Mrs. C. M. Christensen of Logan; a brother, Albert Ludding-ham Ludding-ham of Smithfield; 13 grandchildren grandchild-ren and two great grandchildren. F'riends may call at the home of Thomas E. Griffin in Newton, Saturday Sat-urday until time of services. Burial Bur-ial will be in the Newton cemetery under direction of the Lindquist & Sons mortuary of Logan. |
