Show Committeemen Re-elect Christensen Alphonzo Christensen, of Newton, New-ton, was re-elected chairman of the Cache County AAA committeemen commit-teemen held at the county courthouse court-house Wednesday. Sterling M. association. H. E. Larsen, AAA field representative repre-sentative for the Cache district urged that the local committee-do committee-do everything possible to get the people of Cache County to go over their machinery and check it for new parts and repairs and to make those repairs immediately. This is in conformity to the wishes of the Secretary of Agriculture so as not to delay in any way the program pro-gram for increased production. Jones, of Wellsville, was reelected vice chairman and William Erick-son, Erick-son, of Smithfield, as the third member of the committee. H. L. Buttars, Clarkston, was made first alternate and Edwin Clawson, Hyrum, Hy-rum, second alternate. O. L. Lee, of Paradise, member of the state committee, discussed food-for-defense problems and some of the benefit payments to be derived de-rived from the program this year. He pointed out the importance of the irrigation practice and stated that he would like to see the farmers take advantage of this to measure the water onto their Various Var-ious crops so that they know ' what they are applying since wa-, wa-, ter is the most valuable asset in Cache County. Following the election of officers offi-cers the county committee met and re-elected R. L. Wrigley, county agent, as secretary and Olscn Esplin as treasurer of the |
