Foley's hustling club copped the first-half championship champ-ionship and is tied for first thus far in the second. It is interesting to note that the Kilowatters held the Colored Ghosts 4-2, and defeated Cliff's Service and Ralphy Maughan in an exhibition contest at Wellsville this year. Key man is the sensational pitcher, Glen Cherry. Small of stature, sta-ture, Cherry is a giant on the mound deceptive, fast and versatile. ver-satile. He has a "voo doo" wind-up wind-up which often baffles batters; he created an excellent impression with local fans when the Reddy Kilowatt Kilo-watt team won second place in the Utah-Idaho softball tournament tourna-ment conducted last August in Logan. Lo-gan. Two weeks ago, Glen pitched his team to a 5-4 victory over the Ogden City All Stars, so his experience ex-perience with the all-star aggregations aggre-gations ls not new. Other members of the fast Ogden Og-den crew are Clug Vacher, center cen-ter field; Blaine Hulmston,, short stop; Lynn Foley, right field; Bob Stratford, left field; Lavar Kump. third base; Jack Thomas, second; Fr"d Pusey, catch; Dick WUhancs, short field; and Bob Snedden, first base.
