Show Our "Doctors-" . The last legislature failed to pass a bill to disccurage "qnaeks." The profession pro-fession of medicine and that of surgery are closely interwoven in the family ties. Some of Manti's claimants can pull out a cigarette and refer you to a diploma on their wall and say they are physicians, bnt they know bettor. They can learn nothing iu experience and the percentage of death rates is alarmingly alarm-ingly increasing. These butchers, by their persistency in staying keep out a reputable class who would come among us. They can't cure "fits" so they do not drive their patients to that extremity, but they would amputate a man's heart for the toothacke. None of them can tell the nature of a disease or what the ailment is, uutil they have consultel either Pr. Olsten or Dr. Kenner. A diploma no more makes the physician than do the clothes make the man, and several of Manti's practicians, before too late in life, should letfrn to saw-wood. |
