Show Cattlemen's Convention. Notwithstanding Governor Thomas' opposition, the cattlemen of Utah and all the western states and territiries will convene at Ogden April 29. Among the questions to come up for discussion are, "Transportation," "Brands," "Mavericks," "Mav-ericks," "Fencing, 'SVater Rights," 'Range Privileges," "Stock Yards" "Breeds," "Breeding of Cattle," and "Quarantine." The Colorado delegation delega-tion will be headed by the famons Cowboy Cow-boy band of Pueblo, fifty pieces, leaving on the 27th by way of the Rio Grande Western. |
