Show Hon. Samuel R- Thurman. We were pleased to meet onr old friend, Hon. S. R. Tharman, who ha lately returned from a mission to Europ-He Europ-He says he wasdellghted to find the political status of things in Utah and as he tersely puts It "democracy la Ih ascendency." Mr. Thurman will work with renewed energy in the legal field in which he was considered one of the brightest lights. He was certainly well known as a keen, aggressive lawyer in our county, having as he did a very ei tenslre practice. He baa associated bim self with with the Hod. Geo. Sutherland, Suther-land, a young man who is considored to be at the top round cf the profession and is prominently spoken of a successor success-or to Jndge Blackburn on the judicial bench of the fir t district. We certainly certain-ly refer onr friends to this firm for their legal work of high order. |
