Show W. Prosser found Merrit flarger in hi daughter's bed room at the Eleventh j Street Mission in Denver Tuesday morning morn-ing and shot him. The wound is fatal, Harger bad been waiting on Mamie Prosser for some time and the two were engaged to be married. The girl's father fa-ther had noticed his daughter was inclined in-clined to be absent evenings. He played detective for awhile and concluded that something was wrong. . Early Tuesday morning he took his gun and visited the mission. He forced his way .into Ear-gar's Ear-gar's and saw proof of his daughter's ruin. He fired his gun Instantly wounding wound-ing Harger in the right breast. .Then without ceremony he grabbed his daughter In his arms and rushed down stairs with her leaving Harger to. himself. him-self. By the time he got down stairs the police were ready to arrest him Harger was taken to St. Luke's hospital'.
