Show byron porter 78 died tuesday funeral saturday byron 78 a resident of the richville ward died in fit an ogden hospital tuesday morning after a one week illness mr air porter was born in porterville march 4 1873 a son of lyman W and electa kilburn porter he was educated in the 31 morgan organ schools anu afterwards engaged in tanning farming on sept H 14 1801 lie mathied mary B E Robin robinson soi i in the salt lake temple the couple hadl had seven children all of whom are I 1 living air porter was a member of the richville waid and had taken an active part in the sunday school MIA and was a former member of the morgan stake sunday school board at the time of his death he was a member of the stake high priests quorum for the past several winters he had gone to mesa ariz to ork in the temple and just recently purchased a home in st george where he and mrs porter could be nearer home while NN working in the temple there they were planning on leaving for st george to spend the coming winter surviving are his widow anu and the following sons and daughters mrs mary Maurlr ie root virginia E royal joseph and dale R porter richville glendon C porter sunset mrs airs J P Merly iiii olsen provo mrs wayne enid degraw salt lake city 14 grandchildren and tle the following brothers and sisters al 11 porter and I 1 legrand porter salt lake city I 1 job porter idaho mrs nancy moffitt Mot durley burley idaho mrs airs rachel I 1 smith riverton funeral services will be held in the morgan stake tabernacle at 1 pm saturday with bishop ray of the richville ward officiating friends may call at the larkan funeral home thursday from 6 to 9 pm and at the family home in richville friday afternoon and evening and saturday morning until 1 12 noon interment will be in the south morgan cemetery |
