Show BOYS RECEIVE F F A AWARDS I 1 P ilk r MYRON ROLLINS MONTY myron rollins and monty dahlquist have havee just been awarded state farmer keys this award is presented by the state future farmer association to boys who have outstanding records jn in vocational agriculture ri myron is a senior in an morgan high school and upon graduation this spring will have completed four years in vocational agriculture during these four years he has completed twelve projects in supervised farming these projects have been in beef dairy poultry and heep the past two years myron has entered the chicken of tomorrow contest winning prizes each year myron is the son of mrs 0 W rollins monty is completing this his junior year is morgan high school he has been especially interested in dairying having completed ten projects in supervised farming during this time with a net met income of 1 1500 l monty has exhibited his dairy stock at the plain city dairy show at the morgan county fair and at the centennial exposition in salt lake city his dairy cattle have won many prizes and awards his holstein bull was judged champion at the centennial alpo and a cow of which he is especially proud has been shown nine times and has never been defeated monty is also the possessor of several awards in fitting and showmanship duling the state convention held in salt lake city recently monty had the honor of being nominated for president of the state future farmer association while not elected he was pleased to be considered as a qualified candidate for the position monty is the son of mr air and mrs bernard dahlquist |
