has completely changed regulations with respect to beneficiaries veterans administration Is urging all veterans who have national service lite life insurance to designate beneficiaries for or their insurance if they have not already done so the old provision of the law provided vid ed for or an automatic order of succession in the event no beneficiary was designated but on and after july 31 0 1946 that provision no longer holds under the new law if the insured is not survived by a designated beneficiary proceeds of his insurance will be paid in a single sum to his estate at his death As part of an estate insurance loses its s identity as such and is subject to all laws governing estates including claims of creditors administrators tees fees and cour court expenses this would expose
