Show morgan county pioneer is dead mrs caroline compton 73 widow of george compton died early saturday at the family residence born in morgan jan 19 1865 she was a daughter of john and caroline coolbear ager and had lived here all her life she had been teacher in the L D S sunday school and at the time of her death was active in the relief society the following children survive mrs hyrum 0 pack of woods cross george compton mrs C almo smith and mrs L F tribe of ogden john A compton and james W compton of morgan mrs norman kendall of bingham miss leone compton of morgan also 27 grandchildren and one great grand child funeral services were conducted conduct eI monday at one p m in the morgan L D S tabernacle with bishop R H rich conducting the following is the order of the services i musical numbers were furnished by the south morgan ward relief society chorus rosella compton florence francis mrs myrtle richards richard rawle and mrs harold francis george E carter offered the invocation the beneal benediction was pronounced by howard francis speakers were R R fry C C geary mrs mary chadwick and bishop R H rich dedication cation G of f the grave was made by H 0 pack grandchildren had charge of the blowers flowers and grandsons were pallbearers pall bearers interment was made in the south morgan cemetery |
