unfinished business ten ien officially allowed days remained on monday ot of the bu bj allotted to the currant session sopping shopping of the legislative clocks a resort otten olten made use of to give tae lawmakers more time may i aad oue one two or three days in tins this short period such sue h all important matters as ad a state slate liquor connol law personal income and franchise taxes social relief and appropriations must be acted upon or lett in the doldrums by the har lawmakers the liquor problem Is expected JO to be solved in comparatively speedy and effective fashion thru passage by the senate and concurrence by the lower branch of 01 an amended H B 41 the bill passed by the house the finished product will likely provide tor for state stale stores as fixed by the representatives with by the drink sales added by the senate A few other changes inserted by the senators and agreed upon by the house will probably see the committee of 49 proposals enacted into law in practically their entirety the end of the week found the house and senate deadlocked on personal income and corporation franchise taxes neither side midst verbal fireworks would recede from its position the lomer branch members via conference committee held out for exclusion of property tax offsets and increased personal exemptions while the senators were equally as insistent for just the
