Show PIONEER MORGAN LADY DIES SUDDENLY IN OGDEN word reached morgan monday of the death of mrs ellen cranor widow of andrew jackson cranor who died at the home of her daughter mrs volney bailey in ogden last sunday afternoon of app olexy the deceased was one ol of the tha plo pioneers ners of the state she was born in denmark may 3 1851 she emigrated to the tha united states in 1802 and came to utah with a hand handcart eart company first making her home a farmington a little later moving to morgan county where she rast mst and later married mr cranor surviving are two sons john of pocatello and william of echo and tour four daughters mrs wm win white of los fos angeles mrs harry bond of ogden 0 mrs volney bailey of ogden and mrs N J barry of reno nov seventeen grandchildren also survive her services were held in ogden yesterday afternoon at the S second cond ward chapel with bishop castle H murphy presiding interment was made in the peterson cemetery the passing of this good and greatly loved lady was very sudden and a great shock to the family ana friends she was apparently in her usual good health sunday and was about to sit down to dinner when she dropped dead the sympathy the many ol 01 daime friends in morgan county goes out to tho family in their sad bereavement |
