U The building has been inadequate inadequate inadequate in in- adequate in size and some repairs repairs repairs re re- pairs would have to be made if the city kept the structure It was decided by a motion which was passed unanimously by the council to set March 1st as the final date for receiving receiving re re- sealed bids for the purchase of the building Earlier in the meeting the oath of office was administered administer administer- ed to Councilman Lloyd R. R Nielsen by Mayor Frank J. J Garbe The mayor then seated the council around the table in their respective places Marshal Calvin D. D Nielson was in attendance at the session session session ses ses- sion and discussed some of the hazards prevalent on First East Street It was decided to have the police committee and the marshal meet and discuss the problems on the street and formulate some recommendations to be made at the next convening of the council The problem of snow removal removal removal re re- moval on the sidewalks was brought up by Councilman R.
