J Faux motored to Spanish Fork on Monday and visited with relatives relatives rela rela- tives and friends In the evening evening eve eve- ning Mr Faux was a guest of the Kiwanis Club which was honoring all past living presidents presidents presidents dents of the club Mr Faux was Kiwanis president back in 1935 There were some 14 past presidents of the club present to enjoy a delicious dinner and a splendid program presented presented pre pre- by Spanish Fork High School students J. J Elliott ott Hall and his wife Edith Anderson Hall of Denver Denver Den Den- ver Colorado were here with his parents Mr and Mrs WLee WLee W Lee Hall Halt for three days this week They left for Reno on Tuesday morning for a weeks week's convention of the Bureau of Land Management Elliott is employed by that group They plan to stop in Las Vegas on the way home to see her mother Marie Anderson and sister Marian and brother Bob They will return home via Manti ManU so the Halls Hall's will have another short visit Mr and Mrs Del Purnell brought their daughter Laurie Lauric home Friday morning from the Utah Valley hospital She has recuperated sufficiently from a kidney disorder that she could convalesce at home Mrs Roy Janette Hatch fell from a ladder when it tipped Saturday afternoon I in her garage She sustained many bruises plus a severe blow to her head Because a concussion is suspected Janette Janette Janette Jan Jan- ette has been confined to bed She mentioned however her gratitude for the many kind acts in fn her behalf since her accident Melroy and Ephia Kjar had hada a surprise visit Sunday from her uncle Will Evans of Provo Mr Evans is now 96 and deems himself still welland well welland welland and young as ever Hes He's a member of a weekly senior citizens dancing club lub and recently recently recently re re- re- re won a prize for the groups group's best dancer He claims I dont don't have to ask for a dance The ladies just come and get me Mrs Kjar said that it was not very long ng ago when her uncle was honored at a Sons' Sons and Daughters' Daughters celebration as one of the four surviving native native na na- na tive pioneers Sunday he related re reo re- re many colorful experiences experiences experiences of earlier years Marine Lance Corporal Ronald Ronald Ron Ron- ald aId Kohut son of Mrs Elaine E.
