| Show mr and mrs edward davies observe golden wedding 00 90 GUESTS S GATHER lathar TU to DO HONOR ON THIS OCCASION last friday evening the children ot of mr air and mrs airs edward davies sr gave a social in the first ward recreation hall in honor ot of their parents on tho the occasion of 0 their golden wedding anniversary the evening was spent dancing old fashioned dances to music furnished by wm critchley edward Bri dounson inson and johnny with a few games and other entertaining features thrown in about 1130 refreshments were served down stairs to about 90 guests and the large wedding cake was cut tor for all present the honored couple received many useful presents among which alch wore were a largo leather rocking chair an electric grill an esmond blanket some silverware and some nice dishes everyone present expressed himself as having spent a very enjoyable evening and all joined in wishing them may alay the happiest days of your past bo be the saddest days of your future talking with friends after the social mr air and mrs airs davies were overwhelmed with gratitude tor for the honor that had been shown them and for the many beautiful gifts with which they were presented they expressed their thanks to everyone who assisted in any way to make their golden wedding anniversary such a memorable event all of the eight children were present for the occasion mr air and mrs airs axel anderson and their two sons left sunday tor for their t home iu in sterling utah mr air and mrs airs dalles rogers and their family returned to black rock sunday mr air and mrs airs will davies and mr air and mrs airs elmer davies remained until wednesday rooming morning before leav lea ta ing tor for their homes in black rock mr air will davies drove back bach a rew new chevrolet coach which lie he purchased from the garage de la mission while in fillmore |
