they do not let the grass grow under tinder their feet the people of at east millard county have waited a at long time tor for a railroad but during tile the last few months montha they have supplemented their waiting with a gout good deal of activity which now seems to be learing definite fruit in tile the shape of a railroad to be begun by april first and completed tit in time to haul about three thousand acres acrea east eldo aldo beota beets to the delta factory in the tall fall increased activity along this line began when the utah idaho sugar company announced recently that for the past two years it had operated the factory at delta at a loss because of insufficient acreage on oil the west side of the county to supply such a large factory and that it would no longer operate the factory at delta unless the supply of beets could bo be augmented from the fir birtile tile lands on oil the east side aide of the county if this could not be done it would be necessary to disantolo disant lo the delta factory and move it to somo some more favorable field BIG FORCES COMBINE IN MOVE MENT in order to avert this ibis calamity a good many interested forces got together on sugar company has baa sent beet contracts to be in an all effort to determine the tha number of acres of beets that may be depended upon from this side of the county committees aro are now at work in fit all sections ot of this slue sias of the county signing up the farmers on an these contracts reports indicate that the required acreage will be oversubscribed the tentative contract provides that each signer raise an acreage of beets set opposite his name during tile the years 1922 and 1923 provi provide ae the railroad company shall begin conall ot of a rond road to the eust ehst side of tile
