Show Auto Plunges Over Precipice Livingston, Mont. Mr. and Mrs. Earl J. Dunn of Minneapolis, traveling travel-ing in a light enclosed car, were almost al-most instantly killed when the car in which they were touring got out of control of the driver and backed over the Drink of the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone river, in Yellowstone park. The car and occupants took a drop of S00 feet sheer before landing land-ing on the sandstone base of the canyon and rolled fully 200 feet coming com-ing to rest at the river's edge, according ac-cording to Fred Hudson of Anaconda and Wendall McLean of Bozeman bus drivers, who witnessed the accident and assisted in bringing the bodies to the top of the canyon. Hudson was the first to reach the wrecked car, which lay at the base of the canyon, can-yon, and he with McLean dragged the forms of the occupants from under the wreckage with the aid of- ropes from above finally succeeded In getting get-ting the bodies to the top of the precipice. |
