Show ALEXANDER ROSS " PASSES AWAY Fut'ei'i' services were held last Tuesday afternoon in the I. O. O. F. hall for Alex Ross, who passed away Sunday after p. long illness. The services were conducted by Milford Lodge No. 42, I. O. O. F., assisted as-sisted by Bishop iBrd and W. A. Miller, Mil-ler, who made the principal speaches. J. B. Duncan offered the closing prayer. Remarks were also made by James Glenn and Karl S. Carlton, who were his brothers in the Lodge. Ee.-u-tiful music was furnished by the Relvkah lodge sisters. Alexander Ross was born in Scotland Scot-land in 1856 and came to the United States while a young man, first locating in Montana. He came to Milford in 1AC3 and has been a resi-I'ent resi-I'ent here since that time. He was a charier member of Milford Lodge No. 42, I. O. O. F., and one of its most consistent and faithful members. mem-bers. He is survived by a sister in Scotland Scot-land and a brother in Long Beach, California. |
