Show EX-SERVICE MEN GIVE BIG DANCE The dance given Monday night at the high school by the Ex-service men of Milford, is enthusiastically classed, by the dancing public, as the best in months. About two-hundred people enjoyed enjoy-ed the hospitality of the ex-service men and all report a delightful evening. ev-ening. The decorations, which have been cause of much favorable comment, com-ment, were the work of Mr. F. A. ' Stewart, alone. Red and white crepe paper streamers were suspended sus-pended from the ceiling in the form of a canopy, and electric fans, skilfully skil-fully placed by Mr. L. R. Fournier, added to the beauty of the scene by keening the streamers in motion. At each end of the room, large American Ameri-can flags were hung in positions to be also kept waving by the use of the fans. Mr. Fournier was responsible respon-sible for all the electrical fixtures. Punch was served from booths in the hall and refreshments were also al-so served upstairs. Dancing lasted until two' o'clock, as the crowd was reluctant to leave at the scheduled hour of twelve. I |
