Show Swedish Prince Takes Bride London, Before the ancient altar of the intimate little chapel royal in St James' palace, w-here many a king and queen have been married since the days of Henry VTn, Crown Prince Gustave Adolph of Sweden took as his second bride Saturday afternoon, Lady Louise Mountbatten, niece of the reigning sovereigns of Britain. There was none of the splendor or grandeur about the ceremony such as the weddings of royality in vast Westminister West-minister Abbey have known. It was as simple as could be, considering the high estate of the bridegroom and the bride and the presence of so many royal witnesses ambassadors and titled tit-led aristocrats. Fewer than 300 persons per-sons were able to find seats within the narrow confines of the chapel. |
