Show w R1C1JEKAHS' WELCOME AND FAREWELL Mrs. K. S. Carlton, recently returned re-turned from Milford, and Mrs. Isabel Isa-bel Denny, now of Riverside, California, Califor-nia, who will shortly leave for the south, after spending several weeks in Beaver, were tendered a joint "welcome and farewell" by the Belknap Bel-knap Rebekah lodge last Tuesday evening, ev-ening, October 17. Fourteen members were gathered in the lodge room for the occasion, which reflected the large measure of regard and appreciation in which the guests of honor are held by their lodge sisters. Progressive "500" supplemented by a series of informal games, filled the hours with more than passing favor. Luncheon, such as Rebekahs' know how to serve, had its place among the mcidents of the evening. Greetings i.nd anticipations of further happy assemblies to be joined in by the quests, wero mingled with the touch of sadness incident to the approaching approach-ing departure of the other. And so another memorable event has been added to the records of the lodge. Beaver City Press |
