41 Defendants Fouivd Guilty Chicago. Forty-one Chicago building build-ing contractors, union leaders and mil) workers were found guilty of price-fixing price-fixing in violation of the Sherman law by a jury in federal district court here Saturday. Judge Adama Cliff e-granted e-granted a new trial to five contractors-convicted contractors-convicted and the prosecuting attorney at-torney dismissed their cases on grounds that mill workers and union leaders made them the "goats." Government Gov-ernment attorneys charged that by barring importation of mill work and fixing local prices the convicted men mulcted builders out of more than $6,000,000. The thirty-six remaining defendants will be sentenced July 14.
