Show FOOT AND MOUTH DISEASE It would be- well for all stock men to be on the watehout for symptoms of the Foot andl Mouth disease, says Geo. Knutson, the new agriculturalist agricultural-ist for the Union Pacific system. He says the following are to be looked for whenever an animal shows signs of any kind of ailment. If it is the foot and mouth disease there will be a drooping at the mouth, sores on the tongue, blisters on the gumbs and nasal cavaties and blisters and sores between and above the hoofs. Any one of these symptoms symp-toms should be reported at once to th state veterinarian, j Watch for symptoms in cattle hogs and sheep. |
