Mel Rob called on Anthony Stephenson Step-henson and spent a few hours. Mr. and Mrs. Goff and son Jack spent the day with the Stephenson and McGuire families. They returned Sunday. Eugene White who was injured several weeks ago, is well on the way to recovery. Mr. James of Baker, formerly of Nada, has purchased a new touring car. Mr. Vincent Keith spent a few days with Leo McGuire. He returned Wednesday evening on four to Milford. Mil-ford. This would be a good time to have the city work ready to be done as there are quite a lot of men in the country needing employment. The extension of our sewer system sys-tem will provide employment for a large number of men. If the water works extension bond is carried next- week, there will be lots of work in this town. Work on sidewalks should begin in the near future. |
