Show KIND WORDS CLUBTSJ1EETING Thirteen men who have the interest inter-est of Milford and Beaver county at heart, met around the tables at the Atkin hotel, Wednesday and discussed discus-sed interesting subjects. C. C. Sloan acted as chairman. Prof. Baird was the first speaker. He asked that there be a more close cooperation between the business men of the town and the schools and he suggested that prizes be given the students having the best grade In certain elasses. . Mr. Baird was requested to attend the next meeting with details of what he considered would be the best plan-to plan-to follow. Mr. Sloan as the only member of the Aviation Field committee, reported re-ported progress and the committee was continued. Karl S. Carlton brought up the tax question and suggested the formation form-ation of a tax payers league whose object would be an attempt to lower or hold down the 1923 tax rate. This subject touched a responsive cord among those present and it was agreed to make the question a special spec-ial order for the next meeting, which will be held on Wednesday noon. November No-vember 29 at the Milford hotel. This will undoubtedly be the most Important Impor-tant meeting ever held by the club, and a large attendance Is desired. Don't wait for an invitation, as none are issued; and don't stay away because be-cause you are not a member, because there is no membership All you need is an appetite, Bixty cents and desire to help Beaver county, Milford Mil-ford town and yourself.
