Show FAREWELL PARTY' The I. O. O. F's and Rebekahs' gave a farewell party last Wednesday Wednes-day evening to Dr. and Mrs. Chas. F. Swanson, who are soon to leave Milford, to make their home in Southern Sou-thern California. The evening was spent with games !and social entertainment was en-; en-; joyed. i R. D. Zook, on behalf of the lodges, lodg-es, expressed regret at the loss of two or the active members or the organization, or-ganization, and wished them success in their new field. He closed by presenting pre-senting them with a set of beautiful silver. The doctor responded with a few well chosen words, followed by Mrs. Swanson. Karl S. Carlton, while regretting the loss of the Doctor and wife, took occasion to extend a welcome to Dr. and Mrs. C. Parrish, who are to be their successors. Other speakers were Ted Kron-holm, Kron-holm, Dr. Parrish and Past Grand Sherwood. The most enjoyable evening was brought to a close around the banquet ban-quet table, which was filled with many good things for the inner man |
