Show KIND WORDS CLUB MEETS Last Wednesday was a nasty, sloppy slop-py day, and the attendance at the Milford showed the effects of the weather. Only nine men were hungry enough to brave the elements. The question of taxation had been made the special order of the day. but owing to the small attendance, it was agreed' to postpone the discussion discus-sion of that subject until Wednesday December 13, at which time a large number of the taxpayers of the county coun-ty will be present. It is to be hoped that a large attendance at-tendance will be on hand. Prof. E. Baird of the high school, reported on the question of prizes for good work in the school room, and Jos., R. Murdock and J. Blum-berg Blum-berg were appointed as a committee to secure the needed funds for three prizes. Next meeting will be at the Atkin hotel. Everybody is invited. |
