Show CELEBRATIONIS BEINGPLANNED A big time is planned for the 4th of July celebration. There will be a o:soball game on ihe 3rd. with band concert in the afternoon, and a big .ianco in the evening. The 4th will open with the firing of the national salute at sunrise, or before. Speaking and a parade with a band concert and kid sports will occupy oc-cupy the forenoon. A;. 2 o'clock the big baseball game "ill be called to be followed by vrrsliing and boxing bouts. The band will play at intervals 'hroughout the day. In the evening there will be a -plend'd display of fire" works followed fol-lowed by a big dance. That is the outline of the big. two-days' two-days' celebration, as given out by the executive committee after their meeting last Tuesday evening, at which the following members were in attendance: II. T. Hanks, chairman; W. S. Si-how, secretary; Jack McKeon. Geo Jefferson, Wm. Smith, E. A. Olson. Wm. Morley, C. R. Parrish, C. A. Bailey, G. L. Williams and Harry Ward The committee will meet again on June 10th. |
