Show Mr. A. W. Johnson, Mrs. Copeland and children, Mr. and Mrs. Arch Kinder Kin-der went to Garrison Saturday and will spend a few days fishing. Born to Mr. and Mrs. David L. Barnes, Wednesday, Augjust 23, a daughter. Dr. and Mrs. W. W. Markham and baby, returned Wednesday, frr an overland trip to Park City, where Mr. Markham attended the Elks' convention. Mrs. Isabel Detmer, of Beaver, clerk of the board of education, is spending a few days here. M.r. and Mrs. J. M. Williams returned, re-turned, Friday, from Provo, where they went to attend the funeral of J. F. Berkheimer. Word was received here Tuesday morning of the death of Miss Dee Shepherd, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Warren Shepherd of Salt Lake City. Miss Shepherd has been sick for some time with heart trouble, which was the cause of her death. This is the second daughter that Mr. and Mrs. Shepherd have had to give up in the past two years. Miss Mildred Southworth is here visiting her sister, Mrs. Marion Smithson. W. C. Phillips was over from Beaver Bea-ver on Saturday. Osborne Christopherson, of Garrison, Gar-rison, was in Milford on business on Monday. J. M. Taylor and F. R. Williams, of the Z. C. M. T. were with us again this week. E G Merriel and wife and J. R. Ferguson and wife, of Los Angeles, spent several days with us this past week. |
