Miss Virginia Pearce of Beaver, was in Milford this past week. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Schumacher of Garrison, were here on Sunday last. W. R. Witmer of San Bernardino, is doing business in our city today. E. F. Gardner, of Richfield was here Tuesday. Ross Rlgley of Garrison was here yesterday. H. D. Kellar and L. M. Hoyt have returned to Milford to work. A Thomas of Caliente. was here yesterday. Miss Estelle Griffiths of Salt Lake, is the guest of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Griffiths. Clyde Chippman returned unaccompanied unac-companied from American Fork on Saturday morning. Lawrence Warner and C. A. Scott of Salt Lak- and Ogden. are with us today. Mr. and Mrs. F. E. Huffer and Mrs. George Xuman of McGill. Nevada, were here on Tuesday. Mrs. Burnett Fotheringham is spending a month with her parents ai Summitt, Utah. Mr. Harland Thomas of Provo, was the guest of his aunt, Mrs. Annie J. Alkin during the week. Mrs. Wilson Moore, returned home Monday from Lund, where she spent the week with her husband. Mr. and Mrs. Jack McKeon returned return-ed Wednesday from a pleasure trip to Fishlake. Miss Margaret O'Rouke was the guest of Mrs. Jess Manning on Saturday Satur-day and Sunday, en route from California Cal-ifornia to her home In Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Ryan of Wah Wah. spent the week end here, j the guests of Mr. and Mrs. H. P. i Ryan. James Edwin Tanner is back in Milford, after spending several months working in the Cedar City meat market. Miss Louise Levi returned to her home in Beaver Friday, after spending spend-ing several days here with friends end relatives. Mr. and Mrs. George Stanley of South Milford, motored to Ogden on Wednesday, accompanied by their daughter, Ethel, and Miss Leona Krumperman, of that city. There will be a meeting of the Milford Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday evening, August Gth, at 7:30, at the town hall. Mr. and Mrs. Brown Bush spent Saturday and Sunday in Salt Lake City. They were accompanied home by Mrs. Bush's niece, Miss Betty Banning, of Las Vegas, Nevada, who will visit, several weeks. Mrs. Nannie Brady of San Francisco, Fran-cisco, and her daughter, Mrs. J. D. Doolen, of Salt Lake, spent several days last week with Mrs. Brady's sister, sis-ter, Mrs. Wm. .Sterling. Mr. and Mrs. J. Campbell and family fam-ily arrivedt Saturday from Las Vegas to make their home here. Mr. Campbell Camp-bell will work in the railroad shops. They are at present living with Mrs. Campbell's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Stirling. Miss Delia Kirk left Friday for an extended visit with relatives and friends in Torry. E. H. Bird was filling the vacancy at city clerk's office during the ab sence of Mrs. Jack McKeon. Misses Grace Turner, Cal Skinner, J. C. Jones and) G-ean Turner left on Tuesday for Fishlake, where they spent the 24th. J. M. Taylor and C. A. Hoagland, of Z. C. M. I. spent yesterday in Milford. Mil-ford. Mr. Williams who formerly made the trip, has been called to the training camp. The family of George Kanutson, agriculturist for the Union Pacific arrived ar-rived the first of the week to make their home in this city. Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Outzen announce an-nounce the arrival of a baby boy, on the 19th. All concerned doing nicely. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Williams and daughter, Mrs. Paul Evans, left on Wednesday to spend several days with Mrs. Evans' husband, Conductor Paul Evans of Cedar City. Mr. and Mrs. R. H. Quayle and Mrs. James McGhie of Salt Lake, are guests of their son and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Quayle during Ihe week. Miss Isabel Banning of Salt Lake, is .spending a few days in Milford with her cousin, Miss Betty Pitch-forth. Pitch-forth. Ray Castle returned! from Kimmer Wyoming, Thursday morning, where he wrestled with Mirl Christensen. He got two falls out of three. Mr. Castle was accompanied on his return re-turn by his wife, who has been away from Milford for some time. A party, consisting of Miss Ardath Johnson, Miss LaPriell Clements Miss Ena and Verna Weber, of Los Angeles, Miss Leona Krumperman, of Ogden, Miss Lila Stanley, Walter Webber and Lamar Outzen, spent the week, end at Lehman's cave. Mrs. J. B. Duncan entertained at a dinner party Tuesday afternoon in honor of Mrs. Ella Ernst, of Lehi. and Mr. and Mrs. E. H. Bird, who have j n at returned from Salt Lake. Mrs. M. P. Lewis entertained the M. J. Club Friday evening of last week. Five Hundred was played. At the close of the evening delicious re-j freshmenta were served. Mrs. Frank Cruxton. of Las Vegas. Nevada. Mrs. Christopherson. of Fillmore and Mrs. W. Tanner were invited guests. - Mrs. Brown Bush was hostess to the members of the M. J. club Wednesday Wed-nesday evening. An interesting game of "500" was played. A dainty luncheon lunch-eon was served late in the evening. Mrs. Frank Cruxton of Las Vegas, and Mrs. Christopherson of Fillmore, were invited guests. Fred Ludtke arrived from California Califor-nia Monday. He will return the first of the week, accompanied by his wife and baby, who have spent some time here with relatives and old' acquaintances. ac-quaintances. Miss Mildred.
