During the period between August, Au-gust, 1923 and May 1924, the export business of the Olds Motor works increased in-creased 2S7 per cent. Laing, general sales manager of the General Motors Export company, has informed Oldsmobile officials that the outlook in foreign markets presages even greater sales for Oldsmobile. At the present time a full line of Oldsmobiles is being exhibited at the British Industrial Exposition at Wem bley, England, through the General Motors of Canada, Ltd., who also will take care of the Oldsmobile exhibit ex-hibit at the London salon this fall. Cars shown at the British exposition are equipped with either left or right hand drive to conform to the verying requirements in European countries. Domestic business also is far beyond be-yond expectations, according to Guy H. Peasley, sales manager of Olds Motor Works. The actual movement of Oldsmobiles from dealers to purchasers pur-chasers during June this year sur-passedi sur-passedi the figures for June 1923, while total retail sales for the first six months of 1924 exceeded those for the same period last year by 40 per cent.
