Show Arrowhead Magazine Devoted to Milford Valley Pumping Dist. Through the courtesy of T. C. Peck and Charles Miller, of the Union Pacific Pa-cific system, we are in receipt of a copy of the July number of the Arrowhead Ar-rowhead Magazine. It contains thirteen thir-teen pages of reading matter and cuts, describing Milford and vicinity. Great emphasis is made of the underground un-derground waters of the valley and there are several cuts showing wells in the valley. There are a couple of views of the Minersville reservoir and some of the buildings are shown. Another article is devoted to the retry re-try are described at length in the. text and by several good cuts. The article is devoted to the recreational re-creational resources of the mountain region in the eastern part of the county. It is a splendid advertisement of this valley and will do much good toward making our resources known to the outside world. The magazine is distributed on all westbound overland trains for a period per-iod of thirty days; also is kept on the news stands in several of the larger cities and in the literature racks in some of the railroad ticket offices. The Milford Chamber of Commerce has purchased 500 copies, which will be forwarded to prospective settlers as inquiries come in. |
