Show RLACK ROCK NOTES Mr. Arnold Parkinson of Beaver, was here oh business last week. v To see ;he Old Year out and the New Vear in, several watch parties were given in this neighborhood. The most elaborate of these New-Year New-Year Eve part es was the one given by Mr. ar irs. A. G. James, who are so vc": known for their lavish hospiiality. Needless to say the refreshments re-freshments sereved. were delicious, after which dancing was indulged in with rene'vetl zest. Everyone seemed to be filled with the spirit of the occasion, oc-casion, and expressed themselves delighted de-lighted with t ie night's enjoyment. Mrs. J. T. "ravers entertained at a very plear.r.nt little dinner party in honor of her' husband's birthday. Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Brownfiled were Black Rock visitors for a few days. |
