The party va,s given by the ladies of the G. I. A. to honor the wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Smith. The guests included members of the organization and their husbands, i.ud a few invited guests. The honor guests were given a beautiful picture as a memento of the occasion. Prizes at "500" were awarded tor high score, to Mrs. Dewey and Mr. Cuddy; for low score to Mr. White and Mr. Cline. Delicious refreshments were served by the committee, Mrs. John Haulon, -Mrs. Stirling and Mrs. Dawson. Aside from the committee and honor guests, those present were: Mr. and Mrs. Jeffers, Mr. ond Mrs. Cuddy, Mr. and Mrs. Les Clay, Mr. and Mrs. Al Cline, Mrs. F. Dewey, Mrs. W. G. White, Mrs. J. Killam. Mrs. O. A. Steenbock. SATURDAY RRIDCiE CLUB The Saturday Bridge club was entertained en-tertained at the home of Mrs. Wm. 1 Fernley, November 7th. In the bridge ! game the club prize was awarded I Mrs. Sloan, and Mrs. Nelson the 'guest prize for high score; and Mrs. iGeiorge Fernley the consolation. Sherwood. s BIRTHDAY PARTY Mrs. Erma Gillies entertained seven sev-en little girls last Saturday afternoon, after-noon, November 7, in honor of the seventh birthday of her daughter, Marie. Various games were played and u prize awarded Carol Smith. A delicious deli-cious lunch was served, the table be ing beautifully decorated in orange and blue. A large, birthday cake, with -seven candles, was the centerpiece, center-piece, and small turkeys were used as favors. After the lunch each guest pulleu a ribbon and received a gift. The small guests were: Caroi Smith, Margaret Peterson, Margaret Litchfield, Eleanor Hickman, Zola Rogers, Elaine Kirk, Marie Carlson. Mariei Gillies. P. H. C. CLUB, Miss Ardath Johnson entertained the P. H. C. club and a few other friends at her home last Friday night. A very pleasant evening was spent at "500". LADIES CATHOLIC LEAGUE The ladies of the Catholic league held all-day meetings Tuesday and Friday of this week at the home of Mrs. J. B. Rudert. The ladies are finishing up the work for their bazaar, baz-aar, which will occur soon. M. G. CLUB Mrs. Bert' Hoagland entertainea the M. G. club at her home. Tuesday night of this week. Mrs. Gene Kirk and Mrs. Jack Weston received tho club prizes for first and second high scores at "500" and Mrs. Kinney the guest prize. NEW CLUB ORGANIZED On Wednesday, November 11th, the C. H. club was organized at the home of Mrs. Frances Hollis, with an enrollment of twelve members. After the election of officers and the completion of business, delicious refreshments were served. The next meeting will be at the home of Mrs. Killam. DESPAIR BARREL CLUB The members of this club were very pleasantly entertained last Friday Fri-day night at the home of Miss Fern i Hickman.
