Show KORD UPSETS A Ford car owned by Fred Cottrel, was turned over Ulul quile baflly 'wrecked Armistice day on the Act-anisville Act-anisville curve. Mr. Cottrell had j loaned his car to a crowd of young I People to attend the celebration at Beaver. Miss Thelma Rogers, who was driving the car, Nyas unable to make the quick turn necessary in 'rounding this curve and the Ford rolled over in the ditch, pinning the occupants beneath it. They weru quickly released by passengers in a car coming directly behind them. Miss Rogers and Miss Eva Bowman, Bow-man, who were in the front seat, were the only ones injured and they , not seriously. Miss Rogers' face ana foot were bruised and cut and Miss ! Cowman received a cut on the knee, which r?ciuired several stitches. Miss j Myrtle Osborn, Miss Luzene Jennings Jen-nings and Dee Heckethorn were the I other passengers. The Ford was later towed into I Beaver and repaired sufficiently to ; be driven home. The top was riddled, rid-dled, the windshield broken and the fenders damaged. |
