Show METHODIST CHURCH NOTES Services for Sunday, July 3, 1927. 10:00 a. m Sunday school 11:00 a. m Morning Worship 8:00 p. m Evening Worship The Epworth League held its last meeting for the summer, last Sunday. Sun-day. Institute Contest Miss Etta Devine won first place in the Oquirrh Institute contest held in the local chapter of the Epworth League. Miss Devine made 39 1-2 points, which brought her a prize of twelve dollars. Wallace Moore won second place with 29 points, and Miss Gladys Coleman third, with 27 points. The last two received prizes of seven and six dollars respectively. Institute Delegation The following young people will represent the local chapter of the Ep-! worth league at State institute, July j 11-17: ' Miss Eva Coleman, Miss Ormy ' Devine, Miss Margaret Cochrane, ! Miss LuZene Jennings, Miss Gladys Coleman, Miss Etta Devine, Mrs. G. I R. Wilcox, Mr. Wallace Moore, Mr. j Horace Palmer, Bill Cochrane and j Mr. Homer Root. Several others are undecided as to whether or not they can make the trip. The Milford delegation this year defends the big silver cup won last year in track competition. |
