Show WORLD "POULTRY CONGRESS" OTTAWA, ONT. Two thousand poultrymen from the United States will attend the World's Poultry Congress Con-gress which will be held in Ottawa from July 27 to Aug. 4., according to Dr. Morley, A. Juil, of Washington, D. C, U. S. poultry husbandman, who is directing the arrangements for American exhibits at the international show. "Twenty-five states will send delegates dele-gates to the congress," said Dr. Jull. "Secretary of Agriculture W. M. Jar-dine Jar-dine will be one of the principal speakers. Representatives from all the leading agricultural colleges will be present. About half the Ameri- j can delegates will drive to Oooawa in automobiles.'" j More than 10,000 birds, represent- j ing all ti'.e standard bredes of poultry j in the world, will be exhibited at the show, Ernet Rhoades, secretary of til? corv.-ress announced. Thirty-five cu.'itric-s will be represented at the cnsTe.-s. It is expected that total attendance will pass the 6,000 mark. Purpose of the poultry congress is to demonstrate the latest discoveries in the science of poultry breeding and improvement. This is the fir?t time the congress as been held on this side of the atlantic. At the last World's Poultry Congress held in Barcelona, Spain, in 192C, Canada swept the boards.
