Southern Utah, comprising ev-jery ev-jery county In the state, south of Salt j Lake county, has been smarting under un-der the injustice handed out to them by the Utah Auto association, state road commission, and a portion of the state's officials, for the past eight years, welcomed the suggestion of a meeting called for the purpose of organizing or-ganizing a club to exploit the roads, scenic wonders, hunting, fishing and ( natural resources of this great Inland In-land empire. I I To boost the building of good roads in our own FAIR STATE without being be-ing dictated to by either northern or southern California onto clubs. To give every portion of our state . a fair and square deal, unhampered by outside influence. To Fight the Utah Auto associations associa-tions endeavors to rush tourists i across the desert to San Francisco and northern California, without let-- let-- ting them see the resources and scen-. scen-. ic wonders of our own state. Tn one way we can hardly blame them, as everybody seems to be catering to them. Utah, what, is the matter? cannot you stand or fall on your own great resources and scenic wonders? Can:' the balance of the counties get a square deal while one road is doml- ' nated by the northern California Auto association and the other road;' by the southern Clifornia Auto asso- ciation.
