Show THE LIONS CLUB About twenty-five of Milford's busiest men ar; joined together in the Lions club. Of that number about one half of them attend the meetings and do the bulk of he work. The main excuse for the club's existance is to make a better town a bigger The club in the past has done many things for the good of the town is advocating things and will continue con-tinue to do so. They mave made mistakes, mis-takes, but they are- all the time striving striv-ing for a better Milford. It is not a selfish club. The only way any individual indi-vidual member can gain anything for himself, is by profiting by Mil-ford's Mil-ford's increasing prosperity. It is nonpolitical, nonsectarian and is in no way connected with any lodge or other organization. It is deserving de-serving of the support of every loyal citizen of Milford. It is only to be regretted that the club has not moiv members. Every business, every profession, pro-fession, every trade, the farmers, every ev-ery railroad department, every church, every city, county and the schools should be represented in tn-Lion's tn-Lion's club. It is a powerful organization now but it would be more powerful if had better support. |
