Thomas Dugan has returned to Milford to reside. Railph Gentry, of the U. S. service was here again this week. Mrs. Merle Rasmussen of Paro-wan Paro-wan was in Milford this week. Orris Goodwin came over from Beaver Saturday. A. West was over from Miners-ville Miners-ville yesterday. Mrs. George Ransom and children are spending some time in Salt Lake. Mrs. C. I. Moore is the guest of her daughter, Mrs. Jack Williams. Mrs. A. A. Hillary has returned to our city, after spending some time In Los Angeles. Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Miller have returned from their trip to Yellowstone Yellow-stone park. George Thomas returned Sunday from a three weeks' trip to his home in Texas. Mrs. Si'lmti Carlson and little daughter dau-ghter are visiting friends and relatives rela-tives in Salt Lake. Mr. nnd Mrs. O. A. Scovel. of Cal-iente. Cal-iente. are now residing in the Martin apartments. Mrs. T. 0. lVmiluno. of Montrose. Colorado, and a cousin of Mr. Fred Levi, is here visiting relatives. Mrs. Martha Armstrong is the guest of many friends at Marysvale during the week. Pratt Root of Las Yogas is here to spend the big holidays. Pratt is sure! some baseball fan. Mr. and Mrs. James E. Tanner were called "o Spanish Fork on Mon-i day on account of the death of Mrs Tanner's sister in that city. j Mrs. Henry Bowman returned from a very en lovable visit in the north-, em part of the state this week. Sbo was accompanied by three of horj children. j Miss Ora. and Miss Emma Edwards have returned to Milford from California, Cali-fornia, where Ora has been attending attend-ing school. Rolf Billingmo, skilled jeweler, of Halt Lake City, has taken over the Milford Jewelry store, formerly owned by C. Pfile. Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Ryan spent several days in our city en route to Fish Lake. They -were accompanied by Mrs. Ryan's sister, Mrs. June Lay-Ion Lay-Ion of Salt Lake. Mrs. Chas. Barton, of Payette Idaho, Ida-ho, and Mrs. N. A. McKay of Hollywood, Holly-wood, California, will be the guests of their aunt, Mrs. Tom Martin during dur-ing the month of August. George Morehouse and Reed Gardner Gard-ner the International Harvester company com-pany men spent a couple of days with us this week. J. Mrs. H. E. Bowman has come to our eiiy to reside premanently. She is enjoying the companionship of her family and husband. Mr. and Mrs. Himstreet and dau-gnters, dau-gnters, Miss Beth, and Mrs. H. E. Middleton, and Miss Kathleen Bonn enjoyed a trip to Lehman's cave Sunday Sun-day and Monday of this week. A. good time was reported, especially as they were lucky enough to be there at the same time Governor Schrugham, of Nevada, anil his party were there. Last evening the home of Mrs. Rudert, in company row, was the set-ling set-ling for a very preity lawn party. The red, white and blue lights, together with the color schemes of Indepeud-deme Indepeud-deme Day were carried out very tastily by the hostess. After eight games of "500" were played, dainty refreshments were served. First prize was won by Mrs. J. C. Love, of Cal-iente. Cal-iente. second by Mrs. Dawson and the consolation went to Mrs. W. G. White. As a courtesy to Mrs. II . E. Middle-ton. Middle-ton. Mrs. C. I. Himstreet entertained at the Kit-Kat last Thursday evening "eiiO" was the diversion of the evening, eve-ning, there being :!G present. Mrs. Ernst won high score. Mrs. Xew'.mrt next, and the consolation was awarded award-ed to Mrs. Clay. Dainty refreshments were served at midnight. Those present pres-ent were: Mesdatues Ernst. RulM-t. W. G. White.
